No. While my work is trauma-informed and can feel deeply therapeutic, I am not providing psychotherapy or medical treatment. What I offer is somatic, energetic, and spiritual support that works alongside therapy or other care you may already have. Many clients come to me after years of talk therapy and are ready for a more body-based, integrative approach.

Somatic work involves listening to and working with the body’s sensations, impulses, and patterns rather than relying only on thinking or talking. Energetic work addresses the subtle layers of your system—emotional, intuitive, and spiritual—where patterns, beliefs, and experiences are also held. Sessions often weave both, depending on what your system is ready for.

Somatic bodywork, somatic coaching, and somatic art and movement are very effective for moving stuck energy and emotions that would otherwise be missed in traditional talk therapy because so many of our experiences of CPTSD and trauma are preverbal and actually inhibited from being expressed due to our minds getting in the way with stories and reasoning. It also effectively grounds the energy healing and spirit work that we do into your lived, embodied reality.

Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) is trauma that occurs repeatedly over the course of many years usually, and is different from PTSD in that it is not due to one big T trauma event. It often begins in childhood and shapes our relationship dynamics, brain development, emotional maturity, and more. It is very common with most people I work with. Healing from CPTSD looks different for everyone, but I highly recommend starting with a great trauma-informed IFS therapist and somatic work.

Many people come to me after years of therapy, coaching, or other healing work and feel they’ve gained insight but still feel stuck, disconnected, or in survival mode.
All of you is taken into account to address your healing on physical, emotional, and energetic levels to honor your wholeness, rather than hyper-focusing on symptoms.
Your ancestral lineage, your upbringing, culture, spirituality, and identity are not ignored, but rather viewed as inherently woven into the tapestry of our work together, because they shape how you move through the world.

I work primarily with women and nonbinary folks who are comfortable in women-centered spaces and who feel called to deepen their connection to their bodies, intuition, and inner authority. I also have male-identifying clients who fall into this category, but it is usually less common. Many of my clients are artists, healers, therapists, entrepreneurs, leaders and people who have already done significant personal growth work and are ready to go deeper.

This work is not a fit for…
Those seeking quick fixes, one-off sessions without interest in deeper integration, or for people who want to be told what to do.
I also do not work with people who are in acute crisis or who are currently experiencing severe mental health, medical, housing, or substance-related emergencies. I can refer you to qualified professionals to help with the above crises.
People who do not believe in the full humanity of all beings and their inherent right to dignity, safety, and respect, regardless of race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, and abilities.
People who are content with the status quo of toxic patriarchy, capitalism, and colonialism and uninterested in discovering ways of breaking free of them
People who are not ready to take accountability and explore new perspectives and narratives

You don’t need blind belief, but openness and curiosity go a long way. If you feel strongly resistant to the idea of a higher consciousness, intuition, or subtle energy, some aspects of this work, particularly ThetaHealing, may not feel supportive right now.
-
You don’t need to have everything figured out. Readiness often looks like curiosity, willingness, and a sense that something is shifting. If you’re unsure, we can explore that together before committing. -
We begin by orienting to what you’re experiencing and what you’re hoping for. From there, we follow your body’s guidance. Sessions may involve breathwork, gentle movement, guided imagery, energy work, touch (for in-person sessions), or quiet integration. The first session is about establishing trust, safety, and learning how to work together. No two sessions are the same.
-
Emotional release in the form of crying, sweating, vocalization, and movement are all normal and welcome, but never forced or expected. Experiences range from subtle shifts to deeper emotional expression. We stay oriented to safety, choice, and titration, so as not to retraumatize you.
-
No. Some sessions involve more dialogue, while others are quieter and more experiential. We follow what feels supportive and appropriate for you. -
Yes. If you are comfortable with and wanting hands on bodywork, and gentle, therapeutic touch in addition to the energy and somatic work that we do, I am happy to provide that.
I have moved away from massage-only sessions because I don’t find them to be the best use of my expertise.
-
Absolutely. Consent and agency are central to my work as a trauma-informed practitioner. You are always welcome to pause, ask questions, shift direction, or change your mind at any time. We always want all your parts to be on board with what we are doing. -
I prioritize working together over a series of sessions, as this allows for deeper integration and more lasting change. This work builds over time and is most supportive when there’s continuity.

This varies widely. Some clients work with me weekly for a few months during a specific transition or to overcome a particular pattern or issue, and then return monthly for maintenance sessions. Others will work with me monthly for a 6 months or longer as they navigate life changes, work towards a specific goal, etc. We can talk about what feels aligned for you.
